SEREMBAN, August 6 2026 — Negeri Sembilan’s newly appointed State Executive Council (Exco) members will be sworn in before Yang Dipertuan Besar of Negeri Sembilan Tuanku Muhriz Tuanku Munawir at Istana Besar Seri Menanti tomorrow.
According to the State Secretary’s Office Corporate Unit, the swearing-in ceremony is scheduled to begin at 9.45am, with media coverage commencing at the same time.
The new Exco line-up follows the formation of the state government by Barisan Nasional (BN) and Perikatan Nasional (PN), which secured 25 of the 36 seats contested in Saturday’s 16th Negeri Sembilan state election.
BN won 18 seats, while PN captured seven, giving the coalition a two-thirds majority in the 36-seat State Legislative Assembly.
Pakatan Harapan (PH) won the remaining 11 seats, including nine secured by DAP.
