KUALA LUMPUR, 14 APRIL — Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim chaired the Kuala Terengganu District Development Meeting yesterday to assess the progress of projects and address implementation challenges under the 13th Malaysia Plan (RMK-13), underscoring the need for thorough, efficient, and effective execution in all planning efforts.
During the meeting, discussions centered on key priorities affecting the people, including education, infrastructure, public transportation, healthcare, socio-economic development, and welfare. Emphasizing a comprehensive approach, Anwar highlighted the importance of upholding values such as courtesy, justice, and trust in governance.
He reiterated the MADANI Government’s commitment to simplifying processes, strengthening coordination, and accelerating implementation to ensure that initiatives are delivered to the people without bureaucratic obstacles.
“There is no room for delay or neglect. The true measure of success lies in the tangible improvements felt by the people, not merely plans documented on paper,” he said.
Anwar expressed hope that the initiatives under RMK-13 would significantly enhance the standard of living and empower the people of Terengganu, paving the way for a more inclusive and sustainable future.
