KUALA LUMPUR, 3 APRIL — Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim yesterday celebrated 40 students who recently received their Malaysia Learning Certificate (SPM) results, in a special gathering held at the Prime Minister’s Office alongside leaders from the National Association of Islamic Students Malaysia (PKPIM).
Congratulating the students on their achievements, Anwar stressed that success should not be measured solely by results, but also by the perseverance, patience, and determination demonstrated throughout their academic journey.
“Regardless of the outcome, the effort and long journey these students have gone through require resilience and strong determination in whatever field they choose to pursue,” he said.
During the session, the Prime Minister also shared his views on the importance of balancing academic excellence with strong moral values and character in shaping a better future generation.
He took the opportunity to highlight current global geopolitical and economic challenges, urging students to remain aware and informed about the increasingly complex world they are entering.
Anwar further reminded the students to remain respectful and devoted to their parents, while nurturing a sense of responsibility and awareness of ongoing developments around them.
He reaffirmed the government’s commitment to providing opportunities for all young Malaysians, ensuring they are well-prepared for the future.
“I pray that all SPM graduates are granted strength, resilience, and the determination to achieve greater success beyond what they have attained today,” he added.
