Radar Tyres announces a partnership with Manny Pacquiao’s Maharlika Pilipinas Basketball League.

Radar Tyres Partners With Manny Pacquiao’s Basketball League

SINGAPORE, Singapore-based tyre brand Radar Tyres has partnered with the Maharlika Pilipinas Basketball League (MPBL), founded by boxing champion Manny Pacquiao.

Under the multi-year agreement, Radar Tyres will become the league’s official partner and exclusive tyre sponsor. The partnership was signed at Pacquiao’s residence in General Santos City, Philippines.

The deal will help Radar Tyres expand its presence in the Philippines. It will also strengthen the company’s involvement in international sports.

Partnership Supports Filipino Basketball

Pacquiao founded the MPBL in 2018 to give Filipino basketball players more opportunities to develop their skills.

The league features teams from cities and provinces across the Philippines. It also brings games to local communities and broadcasts matches on free-to-air television.

Through this partnership, Radar Tyres aims to connect with basketball fans and support local sporting communities.

The company said the agreement reflects its commitment to supporting young talent and creating opportunities through sport.

Radar Tyres Expands Its Sports Sponsorships

Radar Tyres is the flagship brand of Omni United, a Singapore-based tyre company founded in 2003.

The brand says its products are available in more than 80 countries. It also has partnerships with several sports organisations.

These include Cricket South Africa, Major League Baseball’s Texas Rangers and the Singapore Golf Association. The company also supports athletes in sports such as tennis and golf.

The MPBL agreement is another step in Radar Tyres’ international sports strategy. It follows the company’s partnership with Cricket South Africa announced earlier in 2026.

Sponsorship to Continue Into 2027

The partnership will cover the remaining MPBL Season 8 playoffs and finals. It will then continue into Season 9.

Radar Tyres will gain visibility through television broadcasts, livestreams, digital platforms and on-court advertising.

According to the company’s announcement, the 2027 season is expected to feature 28 teams and around 400 games. This could give the brand opportunities to reach basketball fans across the Philippines.

Focus on Young Athletes and Communities

Pacquiao said the partnership aims to support Filipino talent and strengthen local communities. He also highlighted the importance of giving athletes more opportunities to pursue their goals.

Meanwhile, GS Sareen, president and chief executive officer of Omni United, said the Philippines has been an important market for Radar Tyres for more than 17 years.

Both parties see sport as a way to encourage young people and support local talent.

The partnership also gives Radar Tyres another platform to connect with sports fans while supporting basketball development in the Philippines.
