SENAWANG, July 23 — Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim has called on the people of Negeri Sembilan to retain the Pakatan Harapan (PH) state government in the upcoming state election, citing its track record of clean, accountable and integrity-driven governance.
Speaking during a campaign programme at Senawang Town Centre on Wednesday night, Anwar expressed support for PH candidates Shahir Mohd Shah for the Paroi state seat and Zarinna Abu Zarin for the Lenggeng constituency.
He said PH entered the election with a proven record under the leadership of Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Aminuddin Harun, whose administration had strengthened the state’s economy, attracted investments and created more employment opportunities.
Anwar added that the strong cooperation between the state and the Federal Government had also accelerated efforts to eradicate hardcore poverty, safeguard public welfare and ease the cost-of-living burden.
He urged voters to give Aminuddin Harun and the PH team a fresh mandate to continue delivering good governance and ensure long-term prosperity for Negeri Sembilan.
