KUALA LUMPUR– MAISEAT, a global event ticketing platform under Damai Entertainment, has secured its first primary ticketing role by becoming the official ticketing partner for Chinese rapper GAI’s upcoming concert in Malaysia.
In a statement, MAISEAT said it will m-anage ticket distribution and sales channels for the concert while also serving as a co-organiser for the Malaysian stop of the tour.
The concert, titled GAI EVOLUTION 2026 World Tour – Malaysia, will be held on May 10 at the Arena of Stars at Resorts World Genting.
Exclusive presales on the MAISEAT platform began on March 10, while official ticket sales opened on March 13. According to the company, all presale tickets were sold out.
As the primary ticketing partner, MAISEAT will leverage the technology infrastructure and service capabilities of Damai Entertainment to ensure a secure and seamless ticket-purchasing experience for fans.
Head of MAISEAT, Walter Zheng, described the partnership as an important milestone for the platform’s international expansion.
“Securing the primary ticketing role for GAI’s Malaysia show marks an important milestone for MAISEAT and strongly validates our capabilities in international live event ticketing,” he said.
He added that the platform has implemented a localised end-to-end service model covering ticket distribution and customer support that meets international market standards.
The MAISEAT platform supports multiple languages, including Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, English, Japanese and Korean, and is integrated with Alipay’s global payment network, offering multiple payment methods and multi-currency settlement options.
The company also launched its dedicated MAISEAT mobile application in December last year.
GAI, whose real name is Zhou Yan, is one of China’s most recognised rappers, singers and songwriters. His 2026 world tour kicked off in Singapore on March 7, with upcoming stops scheduled in Las Vegas and Sydney.
