JOHOR – Former Cabinet minister Khairy Jamaluddin continued his campaign tour across several constituencies in Johor today, joining Barisan Nasional candidates in meeting voters, engaging with local communities and strengthening the party’s campaign machinery ahead of the state election.
Khairy said the tour was aimed at standing together with BN candidates and supporting their efforts to serve the people throughout the campaign period.
His campaign activities began in N.08 Bukit Pasir, where he joined BN candidate Mohamad Fazli Salleh for the “Relaxing Chat With KJ” programme, providing an opportunity for direct engagement with residents.
He then moved to N.13 Simpang Jeram to accompany BN candidate Datuk Azman Ismail through the “Talk Relax With KJ” session, before continuing to N.19 Yong Peng alongside Ling Tian Soon, also known as Ah Soon, for the “Hang Out With KJ” programme.
Khairy also visited N.30 Paloh and N.31 Kahang, where he campaigned together with BN candidates Lee Ting Han and V. Rugendran through the “KJ Sapot Sembrong” programme.
Expressing his appreciation, Khairy thanked the people who attended the programmes and gave their support throughout the campaign tour.
“Thank you to everyone who attended and provided support throughout the campaign tour today,” he said.
Khairy added that he would continue his field visits in the coming days to meet more voters and assist BN candidates throughout the Johor state election campaign.
“Insya-Allah, I will continue to go to the field tomorrow to meet as many people as possible and help the National Front candidates throughout the PRN campaign this time,” he said.
