According to the statement, the Supreme Council unanimously endorsed the seat distribution negotiations involving PN component parties, namely PAS, Parti Wawasan, Gerakan, and the Malaysian Indian People's Party (MIPP), for the Negeri Sembilan State Legislative Assembly (DUN) election. The council also approved the use of the Perikatan Nasional logo by all PN candidates contesting in the state election, in line with an earlier agreement among the coalition's member parties. Ahmad Samsuri also addressed a statement issued by Bersatu President on July 15, clarifying that all preliminary discussions and engagements with relevant parties had been conducted with his knowledge and approval as PN Chairman.
