The Democratic Action Party (DAP) has consistently highlighted issues such as the recognition of the Unified Examination Certificate (UEC), the interests of the Chinese community, alleged threats posed by Muafakat Nasional, and the revival of discussions surrounding former Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak and the 1MDB scandal. The People's Justice Party (PKR), meanwhile, has focused its campaign on anti-corruption messaging, criticism of Johor Menteri Besar Datuk Onn Hafiz Ghazi’s administration, the principles of equality, the contributions of the MADANI Government, as well as references to Najib and the 1MDB case.
