KUALA LUMPUR, EnerAI has showcased its power solutions for artificial intelligence (AI) data centres at a conference in Malaysia.
The company presented its technology at the 3rd International Conference on Built Environment and Sustainability (ICBE&S) 2026. The event was organised by the ASHRAE Malaysia Chapter.
EnerAI introduced four products for data centres. These include solid-state transformers and containerised power systems.
New Solutions Target Rising Power Demand
AI data centres need more electricity as computing demand grows. They also need reliable power systems to support their operations.
EnerAI chief executive officer Teddy Zhang said data centres face growing challenges. These include higher power demand, limited space and complex electrical systems.
To address these needs, the company is developing 800-volt direct current (DC) technology. It also offers integrated power systems designed to simplify installation.
EnerAI Reports High Power Efficiency
One of the featured products is the EnerNeo Solid State Transformer. According to the company, it converts medium-voltage alternating current (AC) directly into 800-volt DC power.
EnerAI reports that the system achieves peak efficiency of 98.5 per cent. It also has a power density of 312 kilowatts per square metre.
The company says the system can reduce the space needed for power distribution by more than 50 per cent compared with traditional solutions.
However, these performance figures are based on EnerAI’s own announcement. They have not been independently verified for this report.
Containerised Systems Aim to Speed Up Installation
EnerAI also offers power systems built inside containers. The company assembles and tests these systems at its factory before delivery.
This approach can help data centre operators install equipment more quickly. It may also reduce the need for major construction work when expanding existing facilities.
According to EnerAI, delivery takes about 40 days after an order is placed. On-site power-up and acceptance can then be completed within two days.
The company says its systems are designed to simplify maintenance and protect equipment from harsh outdoor conditions.
Malaysia’s Data Centre Sector Creates New Opportunities
Malaysia is emerging as a data centre hub in Southeast Asia. Growing demand for AI services is increasing the need for reliable power infrastructure.
Against this backdrop, EnerAI aims to support operators with modular power systems. These systems are designed to help businesses expand capacity as their needs grow.
The company said its participation in ICBE&S 2026 provides an opportunity to present its technology to industry professionals.
