H World Group and Agoda Partner to Expand Hotel Network Across Asia-Pacific

SINGAPORE, November 3 – H World Group Asia Pacific and Agoda have signed a five-year strategic partnership to accelerate hotel expansion across the Asia-Pacific region.

The agreement aims to support H World APAC’s goal of opening approximately 70 hotels over the next five years.

The partnership combines H World’s hotel management experience with Agoda’s travel market insights, booking network and digital marketing capabilities.

Together, both companies aim to identify new business opportunities and help hotels attract more guests.

Partnership Targets 70 New Hotels

Under the agreement, Agoda will support H World APAC’s regional expansion plans.

Its support will include market research, location assessments and introductions to potential hotel investors and business partners.

These efforts will help H World APAC identify suitable locations for new hotel developments.

The companies will also share market information and travel demand trends. This will help them understand where travellers want to stay and identify markets with growth potential.

Agoda to Support Hotel Marketing and Revenue Growth

The partnership will also focus on improving the performance of participating hotels.

H World APAC properties joining the programme will gain access to Agoda’s global booking network and marketing initiatives.

These services aim to improve hotel visibility, attract more bookings and strengthen revenue performance.

Agoda will also provide business insights and revenue growth programmes to help participating properties improve their commercial results.

Both Companies Highlight Regional Growth Opportunities

Murphy Zhu, President of H World Group Asia Pacific, said the Asia-Pacific region plays an important role in the group’s global growth strategy.

He said H World’s strengths include hotel operations, brand development, supply chain management and operational efficiency.

Agoda’s travel demand insights and regional market reach will complement these capabilities.

Zhu added that the partnership could support a more asset-light expansion strategy. This approach allows hotel groups to grow through partnerships and management arrangements without relying mainly on property ownership.

Meanwhile, Andrew Smith, Senior Vice President of Agoda, said the company was ready to support H World’s regional ambitions.

He highlighted the importance of understanding traveller preferences and identifying destinations with strong demand.

Agoda plans to use its market knowledge and distribution network to connect participating hotels with more travellers.

Partnership Aims to Create Long-Term Value for Hotels

Through the five-year agreement, participating H World APAC hotels are expected to receive broader business support.

This includes market intelligence, business development, hotel distribution, marketing and performance improvement initiatives.

By combining their strengths, H World APAC and Agoda aim to create more growth opportunities for hotel owners and operators across Asia-Pacific.
