CHAH, July 9 — Pakatan Harapan (PH) reaffirmed its commitment to institutional reforms and inclusive development while calling on Johor voters to support its candidate for the Bekok state seat during a campaign speech in Chaah yesterday.
Speaking at the ceramah, PH leaders extended a warm welcome to the coalition’s candidate for the N.06 Bekok constituency, Tay Yok Jiuen, expressing confidence in the candidate’s ability to represent the people and contribute to Johor’s development.
The coalition reiterated its commitment to building a more peaceful, prosperous and inclusive Malaysia, stressing that institutional reforms remain a key priority under its administration.
Among the major reforms highlighted was the proposal to limit the Prime Minister’s tenure to two terms, which PH said is aimed at ensuring more effective, transparent and accountable governance.
PH also emphasised that every parliamentary and state constituency plays an important role in driving the nation’s progress, urging voters to continue supporting the coalition’s efforts to deliver sustainable development.
The coalition described the Johor state election as an important platform for voters to exercise their democratic right by choosing leaders capable of advancing the state’s future.
PH called on Johor voters to back its candidates in the July 11 state election, saying a strong mandate would enable the coalition to continue implementing policies that benefit the people and ensure Johor’s continued progress.
