SEREMBAN, July 23 – Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim has called on voters in Negeri Sembilan to support candidates with a proven track record, expressing confidence that Pakatan Harapan (HARAPAN) can continue delivering good governance and sustainable development in the state.
Speaking at a campaign event in Taman Sri Penaga, Anwar voiced his support for Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Aminuddin Harun, who is contesting the Linggi state seat, as well as HARAPAN candidate Azman Mohamad for the Sikamat constituency.
Anwar said Negeri Sembilan, under Aminuddin’s leadership and with the support of the Federal Government, has been administered with integrity, accountability and efficiency.
He noted that the state’s strong governance has resulted in record-high investment inflows, increased state revenue and improvements in infrastructure and public facilities that have benefited the people.
The Prime Minister also credited the state government with resolving several long-standing issues affecting residents, including the provision of affordable housing and the settlement of land ownership matters.
Anwar urged voters in Linggi, Sikamat and across Negeri Sembilan to assess candidates based on their performance, achievements and service to the people rather than political rhetoric.
He expressed confidence that, if given another mandate, HARAPAN would continue to uphold clean, transparent and trustworthy governance while driving the state’s progress and safeguarding the well-being of its people.
