KUALA LUMPUR, MAY 20 — Communications Minister Fahmi Fadzil has extended his appreciation and congratulations to BERNAMA in conjunction with its 59th anniversary celebration.
Fahmi said that for nearly six decades, BERNAMA has continued to play a vital role as the backbone of national information dissemination and remains a trusted news source for Malaysians through its commitment to accuracy, credibility and integrity.
He also expressed his highest appreciation to all BERNAMA personnel for their dedication, professionalism and unwavering commitment in delivering fast, accurate and authoritative news reports since the agency’s establishment in 1967.
According to Fahmi, BERNAMA’s contribution to the country’s media landscape has been instrumental in ensuring the public receives reliable and timely information, especially in the rapidly evolving digital era.
He expressed hope that BERNAMA would continue to remain relevant, respected and outstanding as the nation’s premier news agency while continuing to contribute towards the development of religion, race and the country.
“Happy 59th Anniversary to BERNAMA. May the agency continue to excel and uphold its role as a respected national news institution,” he said.
