KUALA LUMPUR, 6 APRIL — PM Anwar Ibrahim visited Felda Semenchu to meet with members of the FELDA community, reaffirming the government’s commitment to ensuring that settlers remain a key pillar of the nation’s development.
During the visit, PM Anwar stressed that the Federal Land Development Authority (FELDA) must not be sidelined in the country’s development trajectory. He emphasized the need to continuously improve basic facilities, particularly healthcare services, including plans to enhance dialysis centre capabilities to better serve local residents.

The Prime Minister highlighted that the welfare of the people, especially settlers, remains central to Malaysia’s economic strength and national progress. He also addressed current global challenges, including the ongoing crisis in West Asia, assuring that the MADANI Government will continue to prioritise the rakyat’s interests while navigating uncertain global conditions.

PM Anwar urged FELDA residents to stay informed about current developments and to support government initiatives aimed at maintaining national stability and resilience.
Before concluding his visit, he announced a special allocation of RM500,000 for the repair and upgrading of essential facilities in Felda Semenchu, including schools and mosque infrastructure, to improve the comfort and well-being of the local community.
