KUALA LUMPUR: The Johor State Election (PRN) is not just a field of political competition, but rather an important platform to determine the future direction of the state and the well-being of the people. PH Communications Director Datuk Fahmi Fadzil said the message was clearly conveyed through the launch of the Pakatan Harapan (PH) machinery for the Johor state election in Batu Pahat last night, which was witnessed by more than 5,000 party machinery and local residents. Fahmi, who is also the Communications Minister, said that Parti Amanah Negara (Amanah) President Datuk Seri Mohamad Sabu reminded all parties of the importance of coordination between the state government administration and the Federal Government. "Johor has enormous potential. The planned development must truly benefit the largest number of people," said Fahmi. The Johor State Legislative Assembly (DUN) was dissolved on June 1 to make way for the general election. In this regard, the Election Commission (EC) will hold a special meeting on June 12 to discuss important dates for the Johor state election such as the election writ date, candidate nomination day and polling day. -- BERNAMA
