KUALA LUMPUR, MAY 22 — PM Anwar Ibrahim today took the opportunity to conduct an operational review at Hospital Kuala Lumpur while spending time greeting patients and members of the public receiving treatment at the hospital.
During the visit, the Prime Minister expressed his concern and prayers for patients undergoing treatment, hoping for their speedy recovery and strength in facing their health challenges.
“My prayers are for them to be healed, to have all their affairs eased, and to continue being blessed with strength,” he said.
Anwar also conveyed his appreciation to the healthcare workers at HKL for their unwavering commitment and sacrifices in caring for the people every day.
He praised the dedication shown by doctors, nurses, and medical staff who continue to serve with patience, compassion, and professionalism despite the demanding nature of their responsibilities.
The Prime Minister emphasized that healthcare workers remain among the nation’s unsung heroes, playing a vital role in safeguarding the well-being and welfare of Malaysians.
The visit reflects the MADANI Government’s continued attention towards strengthening the country’s healthcare system while ensuring the welfare of both patients and frontliners remains a priority.
